About The Position
Guthrie Corning Hospital is seeking a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a care team model alongside a collegial group of established Anesthesiologists and CRNAs. The role is designed to provide a supportive and collaborative environment, ensuring that our CRNAs can deliver the highest quality of care to our patients. The hospital is newly built, having opened in 2014, and features state-of-the-art operating rooms equipped with the latest technology. The Anesthesia Department manages the operating room schedule, which allows for a structured and efficient workday, enhancing the overall work experience for our staff. In this position, you will enjoy a flexible schedule with no call requirements, allowing for a better work-life balance. The CRNA role encompasses a wide spectrum of cases, with the exception of cardiac, thoracic, and neurosurgery, and provides the opportunity to perform regional anesthesia. Our robust Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, EPIC 10-Star, is utilized across all areas, including the operating room, ensuring seamless communication and documentation. Additionally, the hospital is located in a safe community with strong family values, just minutes from the beautiful Finger Lakes region, making it an ideal place to live and work. The compensation package is comprehensive, starting at $220,000 to $270,000 per year, with additional bonuses available, including a $40,000 starting bonus or a loan forgiveness option of $100,000 payable over six years. Full benefits are provided, including medical, dental, and disability insurance, as well as malpractice liability insurance with tail coverage. The Guthrie retirement savings plan (403B) includes employer matching and age-based contributions, along with allowances for licensure fees and renewals. We also offer 32 days of paid time off (PTO) plus continuing medical education (CME) time, ensuring our CRNAs have ample opportunity for rest and professional development.
