About The Position

The CRM Administrator is responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of the College's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (TargetX), Student Information System (Banner), academic planning/audit tool (DegreeWorks), and data integration platform (Axiom). This role ensures seamless integration between systems, supports end users, maintains data integrity, and provides reporting and technical support to advance institutional effectiveness, student success, enrollment, and retention initiatives. Additionally, the CRM Administrator plays a key role in managing the admissions funnel in collaboration with College Recruiters to support recruitment and enrollment goals.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Education, Higher Education, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with CRM, SIS, and data integration platforms (TargetX, Salesforce, Banner, DegreeWorks, Axiom, or comparable systems).
  • Strong technical skills in data management, system configuration, and reporting.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in higher education administration and student information systems.
  • Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms.
  • Knowledge of FERPA and higher education compliance requirements.
  • Experience with project management and system implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary administrator for TargetX, Banner, Axiom. Also give DegreeWorks assistant when needed by the instructional unit.
  • Configure, update, and maintain user roles, security permissions, workflows, and system settings.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with IT staff and/or vendors.
  • Oversee integration and data flow between CRM, SIS, DegreeWorks, and Axiom to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage Axiom processes for importing, exporting, validating, and reconciling data between platforms.
  • Partner with College Recruiters to manage and monitor the admissions funnel through TargetX.
  • Ensure applications move accurately and efficiently through each stage of the funnel, from inquiry to conditional admission.
  • Design and maintain communication flows, campaigns, and outreach strategies to engage prospective students.
  • Track recruitment and admissions activities, ensuring accurate data entry and timely follow-up with prospects.
  • Provide reports and insights on funnel progression, conversion rates, and recruitment effectiveness.
  • Train and support Recruiters and Admissions staff in the effective use of TargetX for student engagement and pipeline management.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to faculty, staff, and administrators using TargetX, Banner, DegreeWorks, and Axiom.
  • Develop and deliver training materials, user guides, and workshops to improve user adoption and system utilization.
  • Serve as liaison between functional users and technical teams for problem resolution.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all platforms.
  • Create, manage, and distribute reports and dashboards to support decision-making in enrollment management, student success, and institutional planning.
  • Conduct regular data audits and coordinate clean-up processes as needed.
  • Utilize Axiom to streamline data exchange and maintain data integrity across systems.
  • Collaborate with Enrollment Services, Instructional Unit, IT, and other departments to identify system needs and process improvements.
  • Customize CRM workflows, communication plans, and automation tools in TargetX to support recruitment, admissions, and student engagement.
  • Support implementation of new features, upgrades, and system enhancements across all platforms.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Dean of Students, or President.

  • Salary Range $46,852 - $94,893 (12 Month, Professional, Exempt)
  • Work Hours: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Thursday and 8:00 am - 12:00 pm Friday
