About The Position
The CRLS AVID Program Facilitator will coordinate all aspects of the AVID Program at CRLS, including selecting students, hiring tutors, and planning curriculum. The AVID Program Facilitator conducts informational sessions and dinners for parents, facilitates the Site Team meetings and assembles the agenda, organizes AVID field trips and guest speakers, teaches an AVID course as well as other content-area classes, and coordinates evening and/or summer events and training as needed. The Program Facilitator is the instructional leader of the program for students, tutors, and other teachers, and acts as program liaison with Principals, Deans, Counselors, and faculty. The AVID Program Facilitator reports directly to the CRLS Principal and will work closely with the Learning Community Deans.
