About The Position

Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is seeking a Critical Minerals and Materials Laboratory Research Fellow to lead transformative research, development, and strategic initiatives that advance the nation’s capabilities in critical mineral recovery, processing, and supply chain resilience. This senior-level role will emphasize scientific innovation, federal-industry collaboration, and strategic program development, with a focus on enabling technologies for clean energy, national security, and advanced manufacturing. As part of SRNL’s Environmental and Legacy Management Directorate, the Fellow will serve as a national thought leader, shaping the Department of Energy's (DOE) research agenda in critical minerals and materials, and positioning SRNL as a center of excellence in this rapidly evolving field.
