We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Generator Specialist to join our team at Cyrus One data center company. This Critical Generator Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and providing guidance for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of backup power systems for data center facilities. This role will provide assurance that the power supply to our data center remains uninterrupted during power outages, ensuring optimal uptime and the reliability of critical systems by providing guidance on performing routine inspections, maintaining generators, conducting repairs, managing fuel systems, and working closely with other maintenance teams to ensure system reliability. The Critical Generator Specialist will also be involved in coordinating and executing preventative maintenance programs and may be required to perform emergency repairs when necessary. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with large-scale generator systems, possess a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, and have a background in supporting critical infrastructure in a 24/7 operations environment.
