About The Position

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent AND 3+ years of mission-critical services experience in environments such as data centers or related fields.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience in managing people and leading teams in a technical environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ years of mission-critical services experience in high-availability environments.
  • 1+ year of people management experience.
  • Experience in specialized areas such as mechanical, electrical, or controls fields.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a team of critical environment technicians, ensuring high standards of operational excellence.
  • Model Microsoft values and leadership principles to empower and coach team members.
  • Conduct inspections and supervision of critical environment-related facility equipment for safety and performance.
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance, utilizing telemetry and control systems.
  • Lead incident response teams for abnormal conditions impacting operations, coordinating corrective repairs.
  • Guide and mentor team members on maintenance and troubleshooting of complex systems and equipment.
  • Develop and implement emergency operating procedures and standard operating procedures for incident management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security requirements in all operations and maintenance activities.
