Job Description Develop your engineering career at JLL! The Critical Environments Operating Engineer supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes to critical mechanical building equipment and systems. You will work as part of an engineering & facilities team at multi building critical portfolio managed by JLL in Raleigh/Durham Metro area. We are currently looking to hire a critical engineer that can work the shift listed below. Location: Durham, NC 27703 Schedule: On-site, 2-36 hour weeks a month (3-12's) and then 2-48 hour weeks a month (4-12's) Shift: Thursday-Friday-Saturday Every other Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Reporting To: Critical Environment Chief Engineer Pay range: $33.61 - $37.98 / hr Additional Perks: 3 & 4 day work weeks, large engineering team, place to learn with different equipment and SME’s, uniforms, and tools provided. What this job involves: The Data Center Operations Engineer is responsible for operating and maintaining critical data center infrastructure, equipment, and systems. Delivery of best practice systems and problem resolution on all data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure (UPS, MV electrical systems, generators, cooling systems etc.). What your day-to-day will look like: Responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems to maintain 100% Up-time including: fire/life safety, mechanical systems such as (HVAC, chillers, crac, crah, plumbing, controls), electrical including emergency backup systems such as (lighting, UPS, ATS, STS, PDU, generators, primary switchgear, power distribution, transformers), and hot water systems.
