As a CO+I Critical Environment Business Analyst-Datacenter Operations, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.   • Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise related to financial controllership (accuracy, forecasting & compliance) of datacenter financials.
  • Assist in managing the financial and commercial aspects of site contracts including related PO and invoice reviews.
  • Prepare datacenter site spend management review materials including regular reporting and performance analysis of financials with a focus on improvement.
  • Assist with tracking datacenter Maintenance and Repair activities as necessary.
  • Facilitate and organize datacenter project development, execution, and record keeping.
  • Evaluate cost savings opportunities and recommend strategic projects to realize savings.
  • Leverage local subject matter expert's tribal knowledge to spread adoption of best practices.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to increase agility, and contribute to workstreams to evolve processes, services, and solutions for Operations and Service Level Agreements for CO+I.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with datacenter field operations expertise to ensure alignment and foster partnerships for business success.
  • High School Qualification or equivalent AND 2+ years of business operations, finance program management experience supporting large-scale environments OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with reporting and data analysis systems & platforms (e.g. PowerBI).
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Bachelor's or Technical College Degree in Finance, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field AND 5+ years experience in business operations and project management managing financial and commercial aspects of site contracts including related PO and invoice reviews.
  • High School Qualification or equivalent AND 7+ years experience in business operations and project management managing financial and commercial aspects of site contracts including related PO and invoice reviews.
  • Experience with critical environment maintenance and repair cost management.
  • Experience working with collaboration platforms (e.g. SharePoint, MS Teams etc.).
  • Applicable certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), CDCP (Certified Data Center Professional).
