About The Position
The Critical Care Transport RN at Mercy LifeFlight Network is responsible for providing emergency nursing care in a prompt and efficient manner to all patients transported via the network. This role involves assessing, planning, organizing, documenting, and evaluating patient care in conjunction with another Critical Care Transport Care provider. The nurse acts as a professional representative of Bon Secours Mercy Health to the community, serving as an educator to professional groups and emergency medical services, while promoting Mercy Health - St. Vincent Medical Center and Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center as regional referral centers. The Critical Care Transport Nurse will assist in the provision of care to patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Initially, the nurse will be hired on a ground Mobile Intensive Care Unit base, with opportunities for progression towards rotor wing flight cross-training if interested and openings are available.
