Join our experienced team of Critical Care RNs at South Shore Hospital! We are a Level II Trauma Center with one of the busiest EDs in the state. Provides care, treatment and services through the successful coordination and completion of a series of processes that include assessment, planning care, providing care, in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

  • To be eligible for this position, you will be an experienced RN who possesses a minimum of one (1) year of RN experience in an critical care setting with experience with IV's, telemetry, medication administration and advanced critical thinking.
  • Qualified applicants will be enthusiastic to learn and grow in the Critical Care environment.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • At least 6 months' previous Critical Care RN experience
  • RN - Registered Nurse
  • Depending on department Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification, Emergency Response Training Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification may be required
  • ACLS (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
  • RN-Registered Nurse - Board of Registration in Nursing (Massachusetts)
  • Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) - TCAR Education Programs
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) - Emergency Nurses Association - (ENA)
