About The Position

Job Specifics: Seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented NP/PA to work with a team of Pulmonary and Critical Care Providers. Applicants must have the ability to diagnose patients and implement a plan of care for acute and chronic health conditions in the intensive care unit. Closed Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit 16 bed MSICU, 6 bed Intermediate Care Unit Rotating schedule, including weekends, holidays, nights as required to meet 24/7 patient care needs. Requirements

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • ACLS Certification (Required)
  • Registration from Maryland State Board of Physician or Maryland State Board of Nursing (Required)
  • 0 - 1 year Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Required)
  • Strong critical care patient management experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree (Preferred)
  • 2 - 4 years Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
