The Critical Care Paramedic is responsible for providing optimum critical and emergency care to sick or injured patients transported by aircraft or other vehicles to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) or other designated facilities. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a CAHEA or CAHEP EMT-paramedic program, and three years of related pre-hospital experience. The position also has physical demands, including the ability to lift and carry patients weighing up to 250 pounds.
