About The Position

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is actively seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic critical care team. This is an exciting opportunity to practice advanced, state-of-the-art medicine in a collaborative environment supported by experienced physicians and a dedicated nursing staff. Position Highlights: 14 shifts/month with a mix of day and night (nocturnal stipend offered) 12-hour shifts (7 am–7 pm or 7 pm–7 am) Work alongside critical care physicians in a collaborative, team-based model Provide comprehensive care: assessment, planning, education, treatment, and follow-up Learn and perform procedures: Central Lines, Temporary dialysis catheters, Arterial lines with the opportunity to learn others Opportunity to participate in patient-centered research and a variety of improvement initiatives Serve as a patient advocate, liaison, and trusted advisor for patients and families Moonlighting opportunities available for additional income Why Join Geisinger?
