The Emory Critical Care Center is now hiring Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (ACNP's) and Physician Assistants (PA's) for our newly expanded Medical-Surgical/Cardiac ICU (MSICU/CCU) at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 2 years of experience in Critical Care as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Description We are seeking experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our prestigious Critical Care APP team at our newly expanded MSICU/CCU at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital. We offer flexible scheduling options, including Daytime and Nocturnist roles. Typical full-time positions consist of 3 shifts per week, with opportunities for additional shifts as needed. Critical Care APP positions are open to experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants. Nurse Practitioner candidates must be Acute Care certified (ACNP or AGACNP). Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients. Documents the delivery of care in the individual's medical records. Conducts patient interviews and documents patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status and medical problems or potential problems. Under the direction of a physician, performs physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures including cast application and removal, wound suturing and dressing changes. Assists physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
