About The Position

Westchester Medical Center is seeking a Critical Care Nephrologist to join a growing nephrology group in Valhalla, NY. This position involves providing clinical nephrology services, participating in faculty training for the Renal Fellowship program, and expanding the home dialysis program. The role includes outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, with opportunities for medical directorships and critical care services.

Requirements

• MD (or equivalent) degree
• Board certified/board eligible in Nephrology by the date of hire
• Additional board certification/eligibility in Critical Care preferred
• Qualified to obtain a New York State license
• H1b Visa Sponsorship will be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient general nephrology services
• Conduct outpatient dialysis unit rounds
• Perform inpatient consultations at Westchester Medical Center
• Help develop and expand the home dialysis program
• Participate in medical directorship opportunities
• On-call duties for consultations only, with a schedule of 1:7
• Allocate time for Critical Care services if eligible
