About The Position

Intensive Care Consortium (ICC Healthcare) is seeking an Intensivist to join the team at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in Miami, Florida. The position involves working in a high acuity, mixed patient population in a 48-bed ICU, which includes a 24-bed medical/surgical unit and a 24-bed CVICU. The staffing model consists of 2 physicians and 1 APP during the day, and 1 physician and 1 APP at night. The role includes responsibilities in MICU, Neuro ICU, and CVICU, with a closed ICU model where the intensivist works closely with consultants. The position requires a mix of days and nights with block scheduling, totaling 15 shifts per month, which includes both 12-hour and 8-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Must be board certified/board eligible in Critical Care.
• Possess a Florida License or the ability to obtain one.
• Interest in full-time employment.
• Ability to work a mix of days and nights with block scheduling.
• Experience in a high acuity, mixed patient population.

Nice To Haves

• EMCO experience preferred.
• Ability to speak Spanish is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients in the ICU setting.
• Work collaboratively with a team of physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Engage in clinical bedside teaching responsibilities for ACGME residency and fellowship programs.
• Utilize EMCO experience and skills in SIM and POCUS as needed.
