About The Position

Intensive Care Consortium (ICC) is seeking a Critical Care Intensivist to join HCA Florida West Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. The position involves working in a 26-bed med/surg closed ICU and a 10-bed closed CCU, with an average daily patient census of 30. The structure includes 2 MDs and 1 APP on day shift (7am to 7pm) and 1 MD on night shift (7 pm to 7 am). This is a full-time position requiring 15 shifts per month, with a mix of day and night shifts shared equally among team members.

Requirements

• Must be board certified/board eligible in Critical Care.
• Florida License or ability to obtain.
• Ability to work full-time with a mix of day and night shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a GME teaching facility.
• Familiarity with evidence-based protocols in critical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients in a closed ICU and CCU setting.
• Participate in a block scheduling system with day and night shifts.
• Supervise and teach residents rotating through the ICU.
• Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
