About The Position
AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking an experienced full-time Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP), which includes Nurse Practitioners (NP) or Physician Assistants (PA), to join our expanding critical care team. This role involves working collaboratively with attending physicians to provide care in the Intensive Care Units (ICUs) at AdventHealth Daytona Beach and AdventHealth Palm Coast. The Critical Care team consists of 10 physicians and 12 advanced practice providers, dedicated to delivering advanced care to critically ill patients across various units, including a 14-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and a 32-bed Medical/Surgical ICU at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, as well as an 18-bed closed Medical/Surgical ICU at AdventHealth Palm Coast. The position requires a commitment to a schedule of 182 shifts per year, with open scheduling and rotation between the two facilities. Candidates must possess board certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, along with a minimum of one year of experience working in an ICU setting as an Advanced Provider. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a patient-first mindset and excellent communication skills.
