About The Position
ChristianaCare is offering an ICU Float Fellowship for experienced Registered Nurses. This outstanding opportunity is a combination of classroom and clinical experiences. Participants will work under the supervision of experienced critical care nurses for the length of the program. This program is a 24-26 week program that prepares nurses for the rigor of the ICU setting. Nurse Fellows will rotate between our Neuro Critical Care Complex, Surgical Critical Care Complex, Cardiovascular Critical Care Complex, our Medical ICU and our Wilmington ICU. Step-Down, Progressive and Transitional Units will also be part of the assigned areas of work. This Fellowship is only open to experienced nurses, who wish to work in our ICU setting. No new grads will be considered. Participants will agree to sign a commitment agreement to work at the Christiana Care Health System for approximately two years as a caregiver of our ICU Float Pool upon program completion.
