This Powertrain Critical Supply Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that our
organization's supply chain operations run smoothly. Including, but not limited
to, managing the storage, and distribution of essential goods and materials,
collaborating closely with both suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to
maintain optimal inventory levels. In this role it is essential that supplier’s
tooling capacities are aligned to the Stellantis Production Programs and
Schedules specifically driving synergies to maximize the efficiency and
effectiveness ensuring that suppliers are ready to meet Stellantis demands.
Preventing disruptions to the flow of production parts is essential. The
selected candidate will get the opportunity to work closely with Engineering,
Component Capacity Management, Production Scheduling, Logistics, Supplier
Quality, Purchasing Material Logistics Management, Stellantis Manufacturing and
Assembly plants for both coordination and to eliminate barriers. The candidate
must deliver as a way of life, be self directed, always looking for process
improvement opportunities, keep things simple and have knowledge of when to
escalate at the supplier and/or within Stellantis to prevent production
disruptions.
This role within Supply Chain Management (SCM) is in a fast paced, intense area
of SCM and requires transparency throughout the supply chain, ownership of
issues and consistent follow-up. It is a great source to build your network
within the company and learn the responsibilities of many other organizations
while being able to directly influence the level of success within the listed
aspects of SCM management.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Powertrain Component Capacity Management
* Lead Capacity increase investigations and implementation when uplifts
required
* Developing long term strategies to support production and minimize costs
* Critical Parts Management
* Create concise presentations for leadership, highlighting risks and near/long
term strategies
* Support Mix Change Requests, Trapline and Bulletin investigations
* Improving productivity of the team
* Weekend and holiday overtime may be required to support plant
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or related field
* Minimum 8 years of experience in production control (MLM) or SCM
* Ability to build relationships with those whom you have no authority, and get
results
* Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
* Strong customer service skills
* Interact confidently with suppliers and communicate effectively to senior
management and/or any of the STLA NA plants on supply related issues
* Strong problem solving and decision making skills, and the ability to analyze
complex data/situations
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree
* Manufacturing plant experience with a working knowledge of supply systems (PC
Portal/ODIMS/CMIS/Change Management/CHAMPS/Assembly Receiving Regions)
* Passion for customer service
* Strong data management skills with large amounts of data (MS Excel/PowerPoint
and/or MS Access advanced user).
* Conversational Spanish language skills.
