As a Crisis Therapist at Mind 24-7, you’ll play a vital role in delivering urgent behavioral health assessments, crisis stabilization, and care coordination for individuals experiencing acute mental health needs. Working alongside a dynamic multidisciplinary team, you will provide immediate clinical support that helps patients find safety, stability, and hope.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field (required)
- Independent Arizona licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) (preferred) or Associate Arizona licensure (LMSW, LAC) (required)
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain upon hire
- Strong clinical judgment and crisis intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration in fast-paced settings
- High comfort level with technology and EMR platforms
- Commitment to ethics, professionalism, and trauma-informed care
Nice To Haves
- Independent Arizona licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments for both youth and adults in crisis.
- Recommend and coordinate the most appropriate level of care in accordance with state guidelines and Mind 24-7 protocols.
- Deliver crisis stabilization therapy or brief intervention services as needed.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure clear treatment goals and continuity of care.
- Accurately complete documentation and service records in the EMR system.
- Participate in discharge planning and care coordination to support patient transitions.
- Float across units as needed and participate in required trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
