About The Position

We are looking for a part-time Crisis Support Worker to add to our team! As a Crisis Support Worker, you will assist with children after hours. These situations may include, transporting a child to their new foster home or helping a child in moderate crisis. You are allowed a maximum of 30 hours a week. The shift begins at 5pm. However, your schedule is flexible, and you get to pick the days of the week that best work for you. Support Workers may be asked to be with a child in a hospital or any of our numerous offices in the area. We do provide a company car, cell phone and computer.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous work experience serving children and families preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Compassionate and eager to learn
• Desire to help children grow and build coping skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the child welfare field

Responsibilities

• Assist children in crisis situations after hours
