Pawnee Mental Health Services is a non-profit Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving individuals and families across 10 counties in North-Central Kansas. As a Crisis Support Specialist, you are part of Pawnee’s 24/7 crisis response system — providing immediate, compassionate support to individuals facing mental health emergencies. You will work across our: Mobile Crisis Team Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) Crisis Line You will serve as a key member of a multidisciplinary crisis response team, helping to de-escalate situations, restore safety, and connect individuals to appropriate levels of care. Through lived experience, empathy, and calm presence, you play an essential role in supporting recovery and stabilization during high-stress situations. This is meaningful, hands-on work that directly impacts the safety and well-being of individuals and families across our region. This role operates within a 24/7 crisis response environment and may include evenings, nights, and weekend shifts as needed.
