Directly impact the Children's Wisconsin (CW) strategic plan by providing behavioral health support services to CW staff, patients and families, within the context of the hospital, emergency or ambulatory settings on all shifts. Serves as a core member of a multi-disciplinary integrated care team, which includes mental health providers, medical providers, nursing staff, social workers, security, and case managers, among others. The unique focus of this role is to support the system-wide roll out of the Marcus Crisis Prevention System (MCPP). The expectation of this role is to commit to being a licensed trainer and conducting direct trainings. Other duties include supporting staff education as well as monitoring for fidelity by providing observation, Behavioral Assessment Team direct service work, and coaching staff as needed.

Requirements

  • MCPP Trainer certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).
  • Obtain formal training in CW Trauma Informed Care Initiatives.
  • Requires 2 years experience in behavioral health IOP, PHP, inpatient or residential treatment.
  • Experience in a pediatric primary care or other pediatric medical setting is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with children and families, diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, and trauma history preferred.

Responsibilities
