CBI is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of substance use and behavioral health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models. Job Summary The Crisis Mobile Specialist is responsible for responding to crisis calls dispatched by Solari to the City of Mesa Police Department. The intent of this service is to quickly triage a crisis situation, recommend an appropriate intervention, and assist in transitioning the person in crisis to the most appropriate level of care, when applicable. Each area below is defined by the specific function as it relates to the policy, process, and the governing rules set forth by the Department of Behavioral Health Services (DBHS), Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA), Office of Behavioral Health Licensure (OBHL), and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures.
  • Emergency Medical Technician certification (valid within the state of Arizona) is required for this position.
  • Current AZ Driver’s License (valid and in good standing).
  • Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree is preferred.
  • Health Care related experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations preferred.
