CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. CBI is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of substance use and behavioral health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models. Job Summary The Crisis Mobile Specialist is responsible for responding to crisis calls from first responders, jails, hospitals, other providers and the community at large. The intent of this service is to quickly triage a crisis situation, recommend an appropriate intervention, and assist in transitioning the person in crisis to the most appropriate level of care, when applicable. These positions are ‘on call’ positions and are required to respond to crisis situations 24 hours a day. Each area below is defined by the specific function as it relates to the policy, process, and the governing rules set forth by the Department of Behavioral Health Services (DBHS), Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA), Office of Behavioral Health Licensure (OBHL), and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the behavioral health field required.
  • Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures
  • Current AZ Driver’s License (valid and in good standing)
  • Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card required

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.

Responsibilities
