Through our dedicated, experienced and skilled clinicians, we provide patients and their families with the highest quality of personalized care. Programs are offered for children, adolescents and adults struggling with mental illness as well as offering services specializing in Anxiety, Eating Disorders, and Geriatric Services. Job Summary The Crisis Intake Worker assists in triage and intake procedures for crisis patients as well as those patients being considered for admission. Responsible for monitoring and care of patients presenting at the Assessment Center. Collaborates and interfaces with in-house resources to ensure appropriate and timely disposition of patients. Reports to Director, Assessment Center.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree in Allied Health or related field required
• Knowledge of programs and services at the IOL and/or a minimum of 6 years experience in psychiatric setting
• Excellent interpersonal/communication /written skills required
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills required

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred
• Knowledge of legal issues in mental health preferred
