About The Position
Within a high-intensity emergency department setting or while providing services of the Mobile Team and or Medical Behavioral Health Evaluations, provides bio-psychosocial mental health assessments and crisis intervention services to patients of all ages including their families/support system. Under the clinical supervision of the RN Team Leader, provides for medical needs. Recommends treatment plan to physician, demonstrating knowledge of mental hygiene laws, DSM V diagnosis, common psychiatric medications, and community resources.
