SERV, a well-established leader in behavioral healthcare in New Jersey, supports people with mental illness and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities as they achieve greater independence and life satisfaction through a wide range of services. JOB SUMMARY: The Crisis Coordinator is responsible for managing and delivering rapid, high-quality crisis intervention services to all individuals within the catchment area, including Passaic County and bordering towns in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Morris Counties. The primary goal is to determine and facilitate appropriate interventions in the least restrictive environment for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The coordinator maintains relationships with community partners and coordinates additional screenings, when necessary, in collaboration with SERV’s crisis response team and St. Joseph’s Psychiatric Emergency Services. This role requires availability on-call 24/7 to ensure continuous support and intervention.
