About The Position

The Crisis Communications Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for both internal and external communications during a crisis. This includes managing media inquiries, engaging with stakeholders, and overseeing social media interactions. The role demands a keen ability to monitor and analyze media coverage and social media activity related to the crisis, allowing for real-time adjustments to communication strategies as necessary. Collaboration with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, legal counsel, and public relations teams, is essential to ensure that messaging remains consistent and accurate. In addition to crisis management, the successful candidate will prepare executives for media interactions and provide training and guidance to staff on crisis communication protocols.
