About The Position
This position will serve residents of San Benito County, applicants are required to use personal vehicles to perform crisis services throughout San Benito County. The San Benito Mobile Crisis team is a Mobile Mental Health Evaluation Team that handles psychiatric emergencies for both youth and adults, who are experiencing challenging mental health issues. This team can facilitate psychiatric hospitalization and write 72 hour holds, or engage in safety planning, if the person in crisis does not meet criteria for a hold. Our team also has an aftercare component, to ensure linkage to mental health resources or additional resources, as assessed during the crisis response.
