About The Position

The Criminal Justice Compliance Specialist is a permanent, full-time position with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA). Positions are located throughout the state. This is an entry-level administrative and field inspection position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating with criminal justice and non-criminal justice agencies as required
• Providing guidance and training to agencies and personnel
• Ensuring compliance with Alabama State Statutes
• Ensuring compliance with rules promulgated by the Alabama Justice Information Commission
• Ensuring compliance with federal regulations set by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
