About The Position
The incumbent will conduct criminal investigations of violations against persons and property under DoD jurisdiction, adhering to federal laws and directives, and making arrests as necessary. Responsibilities include investigating complex cases involving threats, theft, computer crimes, and narcotics violations impacting DoD personnel, facilities, and contracts. The incumbent will prepare detailed investigative reports and brief officials on findings and progress, conduct interviews, gather evidence through various means, process crime scenes, and conduct protective services missions supporting major events.
