About The Position

The post holder will be a member of INTERPOL's Environmental Security (ENS) Sub-Directorate. ENS supports law enforcement agencies to tackle wildlife crime - a criminal activity resulting in the illegal exploitation of wild flora and fauna, covering the entire supply chain, from poaching and transportation to processing and trading. In addition, wildlife crime is also facilitated by many other crime types, including document fraud, corruption, and money laundering. The post holder will be required to facilitate law enforcement cooperation to tackle transnational wildlife crimes using INTERPOL's tools and capabilities and increase the flow and exchange of information to enable the identification, disruption and dismantling of international criminal networks operating in this crime area.
