Requirements

Must have a JD degree and hold an active NC law license in good standing.
Possess 1 to 3 years of experience in criminal defense or a related field.
Strong skills in research, writing, and negotiation are essential.

Responsibilities

Represent clients facing criminal charges in Charlotte, NC.
Negotiate with prosecutors to secure the best possible outcomes.
Develop tailored case strategies that address each client’s unique circumstances.
Conduct in-depth legal research and analyze statutes to build strong defenses.
Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, settlements, and other legal documents.
Manage a varied caseload with efficiency, ensuring deadlines are met and client communication remains a top priority.
Able to pivot and land at a moment's notice.
