About The Position
The Crime Scene Specialist I position is an entry-level role within the Crime Scene Investigations Section of the Gwinnett County Police Department. This role is responsible for providing forensic assistance to the Criminal Investigations Division, focusing on the collection, processing, and preservation of evidence from various crime scenes. Incumbents will receive on-the-job training to advance to the Crime Scene Specialist II level.
