High School graduation or G.E.D.
Sixty (60) credit hours from an accredited college or university with at least twelve credit hours in Criminal Justice, Chemistry, Biology, Forensic Science, or a closely related scientific field.
Valid Driver's License.
Three (3) years of full-time experience in crime scene investigation.
Additional crime scene investigator experience may substitute for the required college credit at the rate of one (1) year of related experience equals 30 hours (one year) of college credits.
