About The Position
The position involves performing statistical and analytic research to provide crime-related information to both internal and external entities. The role includes collecting data and providing guidance in the allocation and deployment of police department resources. The individual will proactively analyze and process various sources of information, including social media, news reports, and open source data sets, to produce intelligence reports, daily briefs, and security assessments regarding existing and emerging threats to public safety in Larimer County. This position is assigned to the Northern Colorado Drug Task Force and requires collaboration with multiple municipal, state, and federal agencies.
