About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • One year of retail sales or customer service experience; prior wireless sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, basic computer skills, troubleshooting, Point-of-Sale systems, and cash handling.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and/or Russian is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Management experience is preferred for progression into store management/ownership roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Stay knowledgeable about new promotions, price changes, and policy updates.
  • Perform administrative and operational tasks, including filing paperwork and forms.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, stock accessories, and ensure displays comply with corporate standards.
  • Manage time efficiently, ensuring timely store opening and closure.
  • Advocate for customers passionately, connecting and providing exceptional service.
  • Work effectively as part of the Cricket store team, displaying a competitive drive.
  • Collaborate with peers and store leaders, sharing best practices and resolving customer issues.
  • Sell non-contract wireless phones, service plans, and accessories in a fast-paced environment.
  • Participate in outside sales events or promotions.
  • Perform daily opening and closing procedures, maintain store appearance, and contribute to a positive working environment.
  • Provide accurate information about product features, pricing, and after-sales services to customers.
  • Answer customer questions and facilitate purchasing decisions through price and feature comparisons.
  • Ensure racks are fully stocked and manage merchandise returns.
  • Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service during peak times.
  • Inform customers about discounts and special offers.
  • Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager.
  • Understand customers' needs and demonstrate how our no-contract products meet those needs.
  • Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Educate and engage customers through product demonstrations.
  • Interact with customers, delivering prompt and courteous service.
  • Stand for extended periods and operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, copier, and fax.
  • Lift up to 10 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
  • Complete all aspects of store opening and closing procedures according to written guidelines.
  • Submit transaction journals daily and assist with inventory maintenance.
