About The Position

Job Description: This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. In this role, you will serve as the Product Owner of a scrum team in Cricket's Digital Experience organization. In scrum, the Product Owner is accountable for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of their scrum team. Along with the other members of the scrum team, you will be responsible for ensuring products meet the users' needs and preferences while also returning value to the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 5+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • The Product Owner of a scrum team determines product vision, product goal and product roadmap.
  • Ensures these items align to business financials and metrics and that these artifacts are regularly updated and communicated to reflect changes in the industry, business, and customer needs.
  • Responsible for achieving financial metrics (subscriber growth, revenue growth, or cost reduction through self-service).
  • Creates and clearly communicates product backlog items and prioritizes the product backlog.
  • Is the sole owner of the product backlog and the prioritized order.
  • Works with UX designers, UI designers, Content Strategists, software engineers, testers, and architects to define solutions that meet customer needs and preferences.
  • Accepts/Approves the final solution before it is moved to production.
  • Monitors and evaluates product progress throughout the sprint, planning increment, and year as it relates to the sprint goal, product goal and product vision.
  • Uses web analytics, customer observations and research, industry research, competitive analyses, financial metrics, and other relevant data sets to analyze progress, customer pain points, and the value of future work.
  • Manages a complex product.
  • Balances complex needs, problems, preferences of users with the needs of the business to determine the incremental changes that will deliver the most value to both parties.
  • Collaborates with Stakeholders including PMO, marketing, brand, legal, finance, pricing, strategy office, and other customer facing channels to understand customer pain points and needs.
  • Creates transparency through the product backlog.
  • Enables inspection through the Sprint Review.
  • Adapts based on empiricism and lean thinking to reduce waste and maximize value through the least amount of work complete.
