About The Position

Ensure inventory accuracy through receiving, storing, picking, and cycle counts.  Works closely with the Warehouse Leads, MRP Planners, SME’s and Customer staff to maintain inventory accuracy.  
Hours 7:00am to 3:30 pm, with a lunch break from 12:00pm-12:30 pm

Requirements

• Must have basic math, computer, and communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and must be insurable by employer’s insurance carrier
• Trained to drive forklift and powered industrial vehicle.
• Ability to problem solve
• Must have basic computer skills including Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively, written and oral
• Prepares and maintains required documentation from day-to-day operations
• Must have at least basic knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1-year related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• MRO/warehousing and inventory knowledge a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receives inbound material, verifying part accuracy, quantity, and quality.
• Stores material in an optimal location considering size and safety.
• Disburses material requested by the customer and delivers to the plant floor.
• Manages Point-Of-Use inventory using scanner.
• Performs daily cycle counts and analyzes inventory discrepancies.
• Works with office staff to resolve inbound material discrepancies.
• Returns unused material from the customer back into the system and storage.
• Process and ship material transfers to other GM or Ideal Setech sites.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
