About The Position

The City of Bridgeport is accepting applications for a full-time Crewman I (Beautification) position in the Public Works Department. This position will serve the City mainly on the Beautification Crew. The applicant must be a competent and energetic candidate who is able to work independently and show initiative. The successful candidate in this position will be responsible for maintaining trees and shrubs, applying fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, pruning and mulching, mowing grass, painting, snow removal and other tasks as assigned. Individual may be rotated from Public Works Department to Parks & Recreation Department as needed.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a valid West Virginia Driver's License
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must have a proven work ethic

• Mowing grass
• Painting
