About The Position

The Landscape Crew member performs a variety of landscaping tasks under the close supervision of the Operations Manager. Daily work may be performed at, commercial properties, parks, etc. A daily work schedule is created by the Operations Manager.

Requirements

1-3 years Landscape maintenance experience
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the Branch or first job site

Nice To Haves

Valid State Driver's License with a clean driving record a plus

Responsibilities

Cuts grass (using either a riding or push mower), maintains lawn, trims and edges around trees, walkways, flower beds, walls, and markers.
Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, and twigs and removes weeds.
Sprays lawn, shrub, and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides.
Applies mulch as needed
Clears debris and maintains driveways and walkways in safe condition
Sharpens tools such as weed cutters, edging tools, and shear
Assists with the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
Cleans and properly stores equipment.
Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
Must use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
May be called upon to drive a truck with equipment and crew to all the work locations.
Install & Construction employees specialize in installing plants, flowers and bushes according to a predetermined landscape design.
Assist with site set up of plant materials
Keeps job site staging area clean and organized
Plants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs
Assist in keeping the job site tidy, organized and safe
Use all installation tools according to company safety policy
Maintains, cleans, and properly stores equipment.
Other duties as required.
