About the position

American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, offers unique experiences exploring America's rivers and coasts. We're hiring Crew Members for the 2025 season. You'll work in our shipboard hotel and restaurant providing outstanding hospitality and serving as a proud representative of our brand. This is a temporary position where we challenge you to work onboard for 28 weeks. Our company's values are Optimism, Commitment, Patriotism, and Merit. Responsibilities

• Provide a personalized, high-quality dining service.
• Set up and break down meals and events.
• Greet guests by name, offer menu/wine suggestions, and answer questions.
• Relay orders and serve with attention to detail.
• Maintain safe and welcoming guest areas, including staterooms and common spaces.
• Greet guests by name and respond to housekeeping requests.
• Clean rooms, stock supplies, and organize inventory.
• Support special events like embarkation, tea service, and cocktail parties.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
• Willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, for 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks.
• Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking.
• Undergo pre-employment drug testing for Marijuana and other controlled substances.
• Adhere to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings.

• Experience in hospitality or food service.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
