About The Position

The City of Three Rivers is seeking a full-time Crew Leader for the Department of Public Services. This role involves overseeing a crew responsible for maintaining various city infrastructures, including water systems, sewer systems, streets, parks, and more. The Crew Leader will organize workloads, plan and assign work schedules, and assist in performance evaluations of crew members.

Requirements

• Training and experience in the operation and maintenance of light, medium, and heavy trucks and construction equipment.
• Knowledge of municipal infrastructure.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Valid Class B CDL Driver's License with air brake endorsement.
• A Michigan S-4 Drinking Water Distribution license is required, or must be obtained within a specified timeline.

Nice To Haves

• Five years of previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a crew of employees maintaining City infrastructure including water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, streets, cemetery, parks, and airport.
• Organize workload to maximize efficiency of City crews.
• Plan, assign, and direct work schedules for crew members.
• Assist in the completion of annual performance evaluations for assigned employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
