As a Programmer at Signals Audio/Video, you will be at the intersection of innovation and smart living. Your role will involve participating in the design process with the Design and Installation teams, developing schedules for programming tasks, and executing system implementation tasks. You will continuously refine programming efficiency, maintain technical familiarity with residential technology systems, and identify areas for innovation and optimization.   • Participate in the design process with Design and Installation teams.
  • Develop a schedule for programming tasks, including preliminary programming, rack construction, and final programming.
  • Execute system implementation tasks, such as testing equipment rack assemblies and on-site final programming.
  • Continuously refine and maintain mechanisms for efficient re-use of programming code.
  • Explore programming and control equipment relevant to the Company and its clients.
  • Make recommendations to management regarding new devices and techniques.
  • Maintain a high degree of technical familiarity with residential technology systems.
  • Ensure rapid integration and configuration of systems.
  • Identify areas where software, system programming, or technology services can be leveraged.
  • Enhance the Company’s ability to conduct programming project activities efficiently.
  • Over 3 years of hands-on programming experience with Crestron and Lutron system programming tools.
  • Proficient in writing code in Simpl#, Simpl#Pro, CH5, C#, CSS, HTML5, Javascript, JSON, XML, and LUA.
  • Competent in D3Pro and Toolbox code.
  • Strong networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to program system controllers, including Crestron and Lutron.
  • Ability to write Simpl Windows code.
  • Ability to conceptualize component interactions and installation environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic componentry, network architecture, and programming systems.
  • Knowledge of software development and programming methods used in the industry.
  • Experience with Vision Tools Pro-e.
  • Experience with graphical interface design.
  • Strong and sharp analytic abilities to identify and implement optimal resolutions.
  • Ability to cultivate constructive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Propose innovative ideas for new applications and operational improvements.
  • Excel in multitasking, organization, and deadline management.
  • Demonstrate grit and perseverance through challenges.
