About The Position

As a Credit Support Analyst within JPMorgan Chase's Credit Assessment Team, you will evaluate compliance with credit agreement terms for a designated portfolio of borrowers. This role involves interpreting financial covenants in credit agreements to determine adherence or defaults, particularly focusing on syndicated loans and bilateral agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting.
• 3 or more years of experience in banking or financial analysis.
• Ability to identify and summarize key points in credit-related reviews.
• Understanding of loan products and documentation for various credit types.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to work independently with good time management skills.
• High proficiency in MS Office tools, especially MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Determine whether borrowers have breached covenants and defaulted on credit agreements.
• Interpret complex credit agreements and legal documents to identify necessary parties for compliance evaluation.
• Perform credit analysis and monitor compliance with financial covenants for assigned borrowers.
• Calculate cash flow, leverage ratios, and required covenant values as per credit agreements.
• Develop knowledge of secured lending products, including borrowing base credit facilities.
• Determine grid-based performance pricing for borrowers to manage credit risk.
• Adhere to quality control standards and service level agreements with internal partners.
