It involves reviewing and interpreting loan documentation to establish and monitor financial reporting and covenant requirements.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of financial ratios, commercial loan documentation, and affirmative/negative covenants.
  • Ability to identify challenges, establish a corrective plan of action, and execute the plan with minimal assistance from others.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related field; or commensurate work experience, required.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year experience within a consumer or commercial lending environment, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates and reviews compliance of financial reporting and covenant requirements within the Bank’s loan portfolio.
  • Prepares, analyzes, and interprets financial tracking reports to present to management.
  • Monitors reporting exceptions to ensure timely receipt of financial information needed to perform credit tasks.
  • Provides daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly monitoring of the Bank’s loan portfolio and reports exceptions to underwriters, bankers and members of senior management.
  • Calculates and interprets financial covenants in accordance with loan documentation, such as Debt Service Coverage, Tangible Net Worth, and Liquidity.
  • Reports risk rating events necessary to maintain prudent portfolio management practices.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact and interacts with customers and internal business partners in a professional manner.
  • Manages and reviews projects for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.
