About The Position

Credit Solutions Advisor II at Bank of America is responsible for providing specialized and personalized service offering advice and guidance to financial center clients through the full spectrum of borrowing and banking offerings at each stage of the client's life plan. This role involves acquiring new and deepening existing client relationships by conducting client meetings and presenting customized solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals. The position requires balancing sales performance, operational risk, and client relationship care by leveraging expertise. It is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, which necessitate registration with the federal registry system and compliance with background checks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of mortgage origination experience.
  • Knowledge of credit and home lending requirements.
  • Ability to actively listen to clients to determine their needs and goals.
  • Professional communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Critical thinking skills to analyze financial and credit data.
  • Effective customer service skills to manage the full client end-to-end experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Dedicated, enthusiastic, driven, and performance-oriented.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to learn and understand technology.

Responsibilities

  • Recommends financial advice and guidance that align with the clients' financial goals and needs.
  • Builds and deepens relationships with new and existing clients by leveraging the full capabilities of the bank.
  • Analyzes the client's financial needs and applies knowledge of borrowing and banking to recommend alternative or additional financial services.
  • Connects with clients through outreach and pipeline management activities and conducts consistent follow-up routines.
  • Makes decisions on client requests and refers to appropriate internal partners based on client needs.
  • Partners with financial center leaders, performance managers, and market leaders to provide specialized guidance and coaching.
