We're looking for a Credit Services Manager who will take ownership of our credit and collections strategy, inspire a talented team, and partner with leadership to drive financial success. In this role, you will lead and support the Credit Analyst function while working closely with the Controller to set and achieve departmental goals. We need a leader with superior business acumen and a proven ability to balance sales opportunities with credit risk while driving growth and strengthening our financial performance.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team, including credit associates and cash application staff, to ensure efficient operations and professional development.
  • Oversee credit approvals, account maintenance, and related processes to support sales while effectively mitigating credit risk.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients to support billing, deductions management, payment resolution, and account reconciliation.
  • Provide senior management with reporting metrics and regular updates on portfolio performance, risks, and challenges.
  • Resolve escalated credit and collections issues while coaching and empowering the team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Partner with IT and leverage technology, including company systems and website tools, to improve workflow, automation, transparency, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with third-party agencies for collections of severely delinquent receivables and with vendors for credit risk, assessment software, and financing solutions.
  • Develop and implement streamlined processes for new account setups, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in credit management strategies and represent the department in cross-functional initiatives to align credit practices with broader business objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Administration, or related field. (Preferred, but not required)
  • 7+ years of experience in credit supervision or management.
  • Strong leadership skills that motivate and elevate your team.
  • Excellent organizational, written and communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to establish rapport over the phone.
  • Experience in a dynamic environment with a high volume of customers and transactions in a range of sizes and industries.
  • A track record of wins: reducing DSO, improving collections, driving cash performance.
  • Ability to align departmental goals with overall corporate objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
